Letter to Parents and Students from SVHS School Counselors
Posted 3/23/20

Dear SVHS Students and Parents,

Many things may feel overwhelming at this time, but together we will get through this. While school is closed for preventative measures, we will remain available for support. Please count on us to help you through this difficult time. School counselors are professionally trained to support students and parents through moments of crisis and we hope that you reach out to us if you are having feelings of anxiety or stress. This new school format may be a source of negative feelings especially for students who already struggle with academic and mental health challenges. We will be proactive in reaching out to these students and will be in constant communication with teachers regarding their student’s academic progression and overall mood.
